3rd Week of March: This is never going to really happen...Is it?

FINALLY! A faithful dog companion for company.

At this point, I am no longer a human. I haven't had 4 consecutive hours of sleep for 2weeks. And, they still are letting me go into my day job. AND I still HAVE a day job!

Maureen allows me to get a reasonable few hours of sleep. She has not yet discovered that the show on the TV there isn't all that eventful. Bless her.

I took this photo, literally, just before I passed out.

I was on the comfy hay bale. :-)

Maureen watched this (horse people ARE a little obsessive, eh?).

Lynn cracks me up. She is wearing a hat with ear muffs. Since her last stay, however, I've decided to crank the heat aalll the way up.

Eventually she admitted the thermals she was wearing were a little too much after all... (even the K-mart socks got to be too warm - we'd adjusted our internal temps).

I'm wathcing my mare through the window (that's the screening). In horse-breeder lingo, I'm noting that she's 'pointer' today, which means the foal has dropped into position again and her sides are flat as well... I became hopefull again!

Maureen's friend Cindy and her lab Bria stop by. At this point everyone is amazed the mare hasn't given birth.

Despite the pending signs that the mare is closer, my standard answer has just become a rather dry, 'nope, not yet'.

Cindy rides dressage too, woo hoo! Visitors who ride dressage and have dogs are always cool. (I'm laughing because many of you probably don't know what on earth dressage is. & I'm not telling).

EVERYONE has been dropping by. Here's another neighborhood horse friend.

I suddenly realize my car is a little wimpy.

How cool is her horse?

Its so sad to have to send everyone away disappointed...

I couldn't care less about having my picture taken at this point. I'm beyond grumpy now, but I think I'm actually sleeping here?

Check out her udder now. I want to shoot the beast.
